A Boutique Gift Shop & Tearoom in the Heart 0f Roydon
Welcome to Heather & Bear - Nestled in the pretty Norfolk village of Roydon, Heather & Bear is our little corner of calm - a place to browse, unwind, and feel at home. we’re not your average gift shop, and that’s just how we like it.
How it all started
Heather & Bear came to life in quite an unexpected way. We both come from a hospitality background, and owning a shop like this was never really a plan - until a chance opportunity landed in our lap at the right time after deciding it was time to move on from the hospitality world.
We’d never done anything like this before, but something just clicked. the space had charm, the village had heart, and suddenly, the ideas started flying. No rules, no limits - just a blank canvas to create something truly ours.
Bit by bit, we shaped Heather & Bear into what it is today: a warm, welcoming place full of gifts, creativity, and community spirit - and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Not Just a Shop…
We’ve also tucked in a cosy tearoom serving tea, coffee and a delicious selection of cakes from the Sponge Company - perfect for a little treat while you shop.
Oh and did we mention? we’re proudly dog-friendly, and you’ll often find Purdey and Nelly keeping us company (and greeting customers with a tail wag)
Community Means Everything
We’re proud to support Norfolk-Based creatives - from photographers and potters to hand made children’s clothing, wood turners and Norfolk Produce such as Asparagus, Strawberries and Local Honey. Its their work that brings the shop to life.
And once a year, we host a relaxed Charity Coffee Morning to raise funds for a local cause close to our hearts - always a lovely chance to come together as a village.
